About OrzyneX

Founded in the UAE in 2025, OrzyneX is an innovation company. We start with a problem, not a product. We study it, bring the right people together and build whatever solves it. Sometimes that is a forum, sometimes a toolkit, sometimes an app. Technology is our means, not our purpose.

We work on financial exclusion, low financial and digital literacy, climate action and learning inequality. These challenges are interconnected, so we design solutions that connect with each other and evolve with the people who use them. We build with three kinds of building blocks, intelligent tools, connected platforms and sustainability solutions, and a single solution often combines more than one.

Founder

Hrithik Manikandan, founder of OrzyneX Innovations

Hrithik Manikandan

Hrithik is a high school student at Brighton College Abu Dhabi and the founder of OrzyneX. His work grows out of questions about everyday life: why workers with steady incomes stay invisible to banks, and why schools that want to cut emissions cannot measure what they do.

He researched both, published his findings and wrote a book on financial inclusion, Beyond the Score. He then built the Finangl and ChonX apps, and the Climate Action Toolkit that schools use with ChonX. Working with employers, NGOs and schools, he takes these tools to the people they are meant for, and more products and solutions are on the way.

He brings the same mix of technology and business thinking to every problem he takes on, from financial inclusion to climate action.

Our solutions

Each one began with a problem we set out to solve, and more advancements are on the way.

Finangl

The problem

Many people, from migrant and blue-collar workers to low-income families, have had little chance to learn about money. Many lose part of every transfer home because they don’t know there are better rates.

Where we started

Smart remittance comparison. Finangl shows live exchange and money-transfer rates side by side, so people get more for every transfer and see at once what financial awareness is worth.

What it builds

Financial literacy and smart financial behaviour. Short courses, quizzes, streaks and rewards turn knowledge into daily habits, for workers, families and anyone who wants to manage money better. Parents can also use it to teach their children good money habits. Calculators, a product marketplace and timely nudges support each decision.

ChonX

The problem

Schools want to act on climate, but most have no shared way to plan what to do, involve their students and measure the result.

How we solved it, in three steps

  1. A forum. We brought school leaders, teachers and students together to commit to Net Zero goals.
  2. A toolkit. The Climate Action Toolkit helps each school design and run its own projects, with ChonX or on its own.
  3. A platform. ChonX works on the web and as a mobile app for school administrators, teachers, sustainability champions and students. It makes action a game: students log eco-actions with photo proof, earn points and climb leaderboards, while the school tracks its progress.
